Please bring a hat to preschool everyday, even during winter months. Clothes with sleeves that cover shoulders and upper arms are best. DDP will provide sunscreen but feel free to apply sunscreen before your child comes to preschool. We will reapply it when necessary. If your child has an allergy to sunscreen please advise staff.
Qualified, Caring Staff
Each class is staffed by a qualified university trained Early Childhood Teacher and a TAFE trained assistant.
In addition, extra staff are employed for all 3 year old and young 4 year old classes and provides additional help for children with special needs.
Our high staff ratio allows children one-on-one time with their teacher. This is over our licence requirements as stated by DOCS
The Importance Of Play
Play enables children to learn about the world and relationships as well as their roles within these.
We provide a stimulating environment which is based on children's interests and needs, that allows children to reach their individual potential.
We aim to develop your child's creativity, curiosity, skills and knowledge through an individualised program based on play.
The Preschool is licenced, approved and funded by The Department of Education and Communities. The Centre is licenced for 78 children per session between the ages of 3 and 6 years of age. There are 4 classrooms of up to 20 children each
